My Car Wont Start ! Waking up early to go to work is never a great experience, and it can be made a lot worse if your car doesn't start. Sometimes it is not convenient or sometimes not even possible to take your car to a garage. This is especially the case when your car will not start.
Jon in Liverpool said - I couldn't start my car, so how can I take it to the garage? All I needed was a mobile mechanic that would come out to me. I used Simon, a local mobile mechanic in Liverpool, and he came out to my house and fixed my car on my driveway.
Simon who is a Liverpool Mobile Mechanic says - One of the most common reasons that cars don't start in the morning is a low battery. As in Jon's circumstance, this can sometimes occur when there is no fault on the car; if you often take short journeys, you do not give the alternator time to charge your battery fully. This can mean that each time you start your car, you will slowly be discharging the battery every day. To solve this, it is good to have a longer journey every now and again, and this can be enough to charge the battery back to full health.
Tips
If you do not make long journeys often, it may be better to have a battery charger, and then you will be able to charge the battery when it runs too low.

Choosing the Right Scanner
If you are looking for a new document scanner, there are a few key attributes that you should know about:
Sheetfed scanners are useful when you need a lot of sheets scanning, as a stack of single sheets can be automatically fed. Perfect for scanning large projects.
Scanner Resolution
This determines the ammount of detail that can be captured in a scan. It is the number of pixels that the scanner can see. The higher the resolution, the better that the quality of the image will be. Measured in DPI (dots per inch). Most professional document printers (and magazines) generally print at 300 dpi, photos are higher. So ideally you will scan documents up to 300 dpi and photos at least 600 dpi.Flatbed Scnner vs. Sheetfed
Flatbed scanners have a flat, glass surface. The document to be scanned is positioned on the glass surface and the lid is shut. This is typically used for environments where very limited scanning takes place or for "irregular" objects like books.Sheetfed scanners are useful when you need a lot of sheets scanning, as a stack of single sheets can be automatically fed. Perfect for scanning large projects.
Manufacturer
There are a range of manufacturers, some suited to domestic and some commercial scanners. Some of the top manufacturers include Canon Scanners, Epson Scanners and Fujitsu Scanner.Scanning Speed
Scan speed is rated in pages per minute (ppm) for simplex scanning and images per minute (ipm) for duplex scanning. Pages per minute (ppm) indicates the number of pages scanned every minute. Images per minute (ipm) indicates the number of actual images (front and back) scanned in a minute. The higher this number is the better.Simplex or Duplex
Do you need your scanner to scan both sides of the document at once? If so, you need a duplex scanner.Document Size
Determine the size of documents that you want to scan, and this is the size of scanner you should buy. eg. A4 scanners, A5 or A6/cheque sizes.Thursday, 7 June 2012

How to replace PVC Guttering?
PVC gutters do not generally last as long as cast iron gutters, but you will save on the low price of new plastic gutters.
Your guttering should only need to be replaced if it has has been damaged or has cracks and leaks.
It is quite easy to replace a small part of pvc guttering. Normally old pvc guttering can be taken apart by squeeznig the top edges of the guttering that you want to remove with your hands. This way, the gutter will come away from the clips which are connected to the wall and the old guttering can then be replaced with the same size piece. The guttering wall clips can then be removed if required with a screw driver.
A lot of problems can be fixed and repaired with a sealer, but for best results a new section should be put in place of a damaged section. If you are looking for a good supplier of low cost guttering, Click Plastics is the top retailer in the UK.

Choosing the right Scaffolding
The two most commonly used system scaffolding systems in the UK are Kwikstage and Cuplock. The systems are different, but they are both based on a bay size of 8ft and 6ft, and width of 4ft.
Kwikstage is distinctive as they are usually painted yellow in colour, where as Cuplock Scaffolding is galvanised and so is more expensive. This means that Cuplock will keep a good appearance even if old, whereas painted scaffolding will eventually chip and rust.
Cuplock and Kwikstage are often used in most applications, and they are both safe to use, even if you are going to erect the scaffolding yourself.
Both Cuplock and Kwikstage are easy to erect, even by self builders.
The main seller of scaffolding in the UK is Scaffolding Direct. They supply Scaffolding Direct to the trade and self builders, and can deliver all over the UK.
